National Sports Academy 'Vassil Levski'
The National Sports Academy 'Vassil Levski' provides training for the educational and scientific degree 'Doctor' (PhD) as an integral part of the fulfillment of its social and public mission.
The aim of the training offered is to provide highly qualified specialists for the needs of both academic and non-academic environments, who have acquired systematic theoretical and sports-specialized training, strong research potential, and verified skills and competences for practical application in sports practice

The Doctoral School at the National Sports Academy 'Vassil Levski' operates under the responsibilities and portfolio of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities – Prof. Ognyan Miladinov, DSc, and is headed and managed by Prof. Daniela Dasheva, DSc.
